Jefferson Valves: Products and Applications

Unleaded

Pilot operated, normally open and normally closed, lead-free brass body, 1/8″ to 2″ connections, wide range of pressure ratings, Buna N seats and seals (neoprene, EPDM, PTFE and FKM available upon request).

Water, air, inert gases and light oils, up to 176F

Direct acting and pilot operated, normally open and normally closed, brass or stainless steel body (option available), 1/8″ to 3″ connections, wide range of pressure ratings, Buna N seats and seals (neoprene, EPDM, PTFE and FKM available).

Steam and hot water, up to 356F

Handles the challenges of high-temperature fluids. High-temperature Class H coils help provide long, reliable service life. Direct-acting and pilot-operated, normally open and normally closed, brass or stainless steel body (available), 1/8″ to 3″ connections, wide pressure rating range, EPDM or Teflon discs or pistons.

Slow closing anti water hammer solenoid valves

Reduce the closing speed of the disc to protect the system against the effects of water hammer. Pilot operated, Normally Open and Normally Closed, Brass or Stainless Steel Body (upon request), 3/4″ to 2″ Connections, Buna N Seats (standard) and Neoprene, EPDM, PTFE and FKM (optional upon request).

Combustible, gasóleo, gasóleo, biodiésel, hasta 300F

Direct acting and pilot operated, normally open and normally closed, brass or stainless steel body (option available), 1/8″ to 3″ connections, wide range of pressure ratings, viton or Teflon seats and seals

Solenoid valves for cryogenic use down to -200C (-328F) Liquid nitrogen and CO2

Direct acting and pilot operated, normally open and normally closed, brass or stainless steel body (option available), 1/8″ to 2″ connections, wide range of pressure ratings, PTFE seats and seals.

Shut-off valves: normally closed for fuel gas, up to 176F

2-way solenoid valves to shut off the flow of fuel gas when not energized. Non-shutoff. Direct acting, normally closed, brass or aluminum body, 1/8″ to 3″ connections, wide pressure rating range, Buna N seats and seals.

Gas vent valves

Normally open for fuel gas, up to 176F
2-way solenoid valves for venting fuel gas, such as natural gas and propane, when not energized. Direct Acting, Normally Open, Aluminum Body (Brass on request), Connections from 1/2″ and 3/4″ (other sizes on request), Buna N seats and seals.

Heavy oil solenoid valves

Especially used in Combustion Systems with heavy hydrocarbons such as fuel oil, heated or unheated. Direct acting, normally open and normally closed, brass, bronze or stainless steel body (option upon request), 3/8″ to 1″ connections, wide range of pressure ratings, stainless steel and Teflon seats.

Manual reset "free-handle" shutoff valve

The valve closes when the coil is de-energized. Free-handle mechanism prevents valve from opening until solenoid is energized and manually activated. Direct Acting, Normally Closed, Aluminum Body, 1″ to 3″ Connections, Buna N Seats and Seals.

3-way / 2-position solenoid valves

For alternately applying pressure to and relieving pressure from a VALVE RESET RETURN ACTUATOR or a single-acting spring return cylinder. Normally Closed, Normally Open or Universal. Brass or stainless steel body (option available), 1/4″ to 3/4″ connections, wide range of pressure ratings, Buna N and FKM Viton seats and seals.

4-way / 2-position solenoid valves

For alternately applying pressure and relieving pressure from a double acting valve actuator. 4-way solenoid valve 5 ports 2 positions. Single solenoid spring return, pneumatic return, double solenoid bistable. Aluminum, brass or stainless steel body (option available), 1/4″ to 1/2″ connections, wide pressure range 15 to 150 psi, Buna N and Viton seats and seals. Standard or Teflon lined for dry air.

Valve automation

NAMUR direct mount valves for single or double acting actuators and cylinders. 3/2 or 4/2 configurations that mount directly to the actuator. Brass body, Buna N seats. Direct mount eliminated the need to connect the valve to the actuator.

CNG shut-off valve (CNG - Natural Gas Vehicle)

These valves are designed to handle high pressure fluids such as gaseous fuels and offer the customer the ultimate in performance, strength and efficiency in harsh working conditions. In addition, the piston system allows perfect opening and closing suitable for high pressure systems.

Solenoid valves for general use

General service valves control the flow of water, air, gas, fuel and other fluids. They are reliable, long-lasting valves available in multiple configurations.
